Returning from active duty in Vietnam, Lenny needed new challenges and with the birth of his first daughter in 1970, he needed something that would be a long term career. So when the opportunity came up to accept a printing apprenticeship through the Government Apprentice Program, Lenny accepted the new challenge. On September 1, 1970, as his new daughter was arriving home, he began his career as a printer. For 4 years, he passed through every facet of the printing industry, constantly being tested and taught new skills. Now, almost 40 years later, he still passes on this knowledge to his pressmen, cameramen, bindery personnel, and management. Never has he lost the pride in his work and he instills this pride into his crew.
